Local Blueberry Field in Early Spring

Local Blueberry Field

Eastern Maine is an area known for its wild blueberries. This is a photo of a local blueberry field taken in the Fall when the berry leaves turn red. Joni hand picks each summer for blueberries and cream, blueberry pancakes and blueberry shakes.

Maine Lake

Maine Lake

This is a rural part of the state, with many lakes, mixed evergreen and deciduous forests and cold bright winters. There are five beautiful lakes within walking distance. And the fall foliage is georgeous.
