Hiking
Take a short ride north to Katahdin Iron Works and Jo Mary areas and hike the Appalachian Trail or one of the many available trails. Shuttle service available.

Canoeing
Ponds, Lakes and Rivers, Go for a swim.

Wildlife Photography
Nestled in the interior section of Maine known for it's natural beauty and abundance of wildlife. You will have easy access to the Appalachian Mtn. chain and it's surrounding lakes, ponds, streams and lush forest.

Photograph wildlife in their natural settings. Stands and sites for Black Bear, Deer and Moose. Photograph the famed west branch of the Penobscot, Mt. Katahdin, The Jo-Mary, Katahdin Iron Works Area.
Family Summer Vacation
  • Drive south to Bangor with it's many sights to see like Bangor Mall.
  • Plan a day trip to the coast and visit Acadia National Park with it's carriage trails and majestic Cadillac Mountain.
  • Rooms at the Lodge with private baths & shared kitchen privileges.
  • Rent either the entire lodge (sleeps 8) or new cabin (sleeps 10), do your own cooking, $400 per week.
  • Under 16 half price.
