Located in Southern Piscataquis County in the town of Brownville, Dillon's Gunsmoke Lodge is a haven for sportsmen and photographers alike.

Nestled in the interior section of Maine known for it's natural beauty and abundance of wildlife. Just 30 minutes north from the LaGrange exit off of 1-95 brings you to our door step and easy access to the Appalachian Mtn. chain and it's surrounding lakes, ponds, streams and lush forest.

Once at the Lodge you'll be greeted by Wayne Dillon, a Registered Master Maine Guide, and his wife Grace. The private/ semi-private rooms have private bathrooms and are clean and comfortable adding to the Lodge's commitment to offer you peace and quiet.

You'll be served 3 delicious and hearty home cooked meals, family style. Meals are provided with our remote trips away from the lodge.

Dillon's Gunsmoke Lodge offers you your choice of "packages" such as Hunting: Big Game, Small Game and Bird.
Fishing: Open Water and Ice, Remote Fishing Trips.

Winter Activities Include: Snowmobiling, Rabbit Hunting, Snowshoeing, Cross Country Skiing and Ice Fishing.

Summer Activities Include: Canoeing, Swimming, Hiking, and Wildlife Photography.

And if all this isn't enough, you can take a short ride north to Mt. Katahdin (in Baxter State Park) and hike one of the many available trails there. Or, if you'd prefer you may drive south to Bangor with it's many sights, such as the Bangor Mall and the Children's Museum. You could even plan a day trip to the coast and visit Acadia National Park with it's majestic Cadillac Mtn. and scenic carriage trails.
