Hillside Game
Ranch,
Home of Beede's Famous
Hounds, is
the largest game ranch in New England and is open 365 days a year.
We offer elk hunts, buffalo hunts, red stag, Russian boar, and
fallow deer hunts on the game preserve, as well as exciting
wilderness bear hunting, whitetail, coyote, bobcat, and
moose hunting.
All game preserve hunts include two days hunting, the animal, home cooked
meals, one night stay in our modern lodge, transportation, and guide
service. Extra nights at the ranch are only $50 more and include your evening
meal and lodging.
We have 888 acres of dense woods which provides for a great
challenge. Our hunting towers are comfortable and effective.
Any weapon that you would use for
bear
hunting or deer
hunting including black powder and archery |
can be used on the game ranch.
Elk, stag and fallow deer start shedding in mid-March and return
by September.
You won't need a
license to hunt the game ranch and children ten and older are
welcome to hunt. A Maine hunting license is required for bear, deer,
coyote, bobcat, and moose hunts. Moose hunt permittees are picked each year
in the
Maine state moose lottery.
The average shooting range
on the game preserve is between 30
and 100 yards, depending on what type of weapon you choose.
Give us a call at
207-584-2004 and we'll send you a brochure and answer any questions you may have.

Our modern lodge
will accommodate up to 22 hunters. Our
hunters enjoy home cooked meals and a comfortable atmosphere. Bring your clothes
(pack plenty for the weather), toiletries, a
cooler for bringing home meat, and your
hunting gear. If you have a cell phone
please bring it. They come in handy on those
deer hunts and bear hunts.
All Hillside Guide Service &
Game Ranch guides are Registered Maine Guides. Scott

Good afternoon to everyone at Hillside Guide Service
& Game Ranch.
I would like to take this time to thank all of you
who made our boar hunt this past weekend an
enjoyable one. Your staff of guides and cooks did an
outstanding job at making us feel right at home.
Never in a million years did I imagine this trip was
going to turn out like it did. My buddy Brad and I
will most definitely return for hunts in the future.
I have already enjoyed some of the fruits of the
hunt. (The ribs were amazing!).
Thanks again for a wonderful time.

This was our first time here. We
have tried other places but there is no comparison. The
ranch is awesome. Lots of quality animals. The food and
companionship was first class. My son who is 12 got his
first deer and never will forget it. We haven't left yet and
he wants to start saving his allowance to come back next
year! Myself and my partner could not be happier. Like I
said, we've tried other places but will only come back here,
hopefully for bear next year or the ranch with my son.
Thanks so much for a memory with my son I will never forget,
nor will he. See you soon.

of game in New England and many exotics. Over
bear, boar, and bobcat, I've made my hounds
famous. Come to Hillside. I can
guarantee: 'I'll hunt you hard.' |
