Osborn Volunteer Fire Department supervising a controlled burn

Our Fire Department serves 5 local communities and includes personnel that are very skilled in fire control. For a donation the Osborn Fire Department is available to the public to burn fields or old camps. Weather and wind are important factors, and these must be taken into consideration when scheduling a burn, so please be flexible when scheduling. Our Fire Chief, Shelly Cressler, can be reached at, or by phone at (207) 584-3424 to schedule a burn.
