"Dear Airline Snackbar,

We met earlier this summer when I stopped by to inquire about the ATV club membership. We have a camp on Lower Green Lake that has been in our family for three generations, and we know the Airline Snack Bar very well, as it is the last oasis before heading into camp.

Our camp is currently owned by my 2 sisters families and myself. I've moved to Vermont after growing up in Blue Hill but my sisters are still in Maine.

While we don't have ATV's , the reason we're contributing is that I know that the club participates in the maintenance of some of the roads that we drive on to get into our camp. In particular 31-18-0, 31-22-0 and 35-00-0. We've appreciated the work on these roads over the years as it is definitely tough on vehicles getting to the camp.

Please put us on your email list as we'd like to be a yearly contributor."

But best of all are the world famous pies that they make - they are famous all over Europe and India and reason enough to stop by! Oh, don't forget to check out the game room and the 935 pound blue marlin story!"

"Thank you very much for seating us in your banquet room for breakfast Thursday morning. I had with me my two daughters, a granddaughter and son in-law. They were all from Hampden and I from Lubec met to exchange Xmas presents.
We very much enjoyed our breakfast also your company plus pictures of you and bear cubs. I mentioned to you I had taken a picture of a bear at my trout pond behind my house with a game camera. I have several come there every fall. I am enclosing pictures that were taken, no idea his weight but looks quite heavy.

Thanks again for your hospitality and breakfast. Plan to come to the Snackbar by snowmobile as soon as we get adequate snow."
