EMH web hosting includes Caretaker Updating. We update your text, photos, links, etc. as needed, at no additional charge. No complicated procedures required to update your website. You simply email or phone us and we do the rest.
Our web hosting service includes a free domain name of your choice. Your domain name is the internet address of your website. For example, www.emainehosting.com. Choose from .com, .net or .org. We set it up for you. Domain Email accounts are also available.
A Traditional web site is designed for viewing on desktop or laptop computers. A Responsive web site is one which automatically changes its size and configuration for proper viewing on any display device, desktop computer, laptop, netbook, iPad, iPod, or cellphone. No pinching or side to side scrolling required.
eMaineHosting does not share personal or private information that our clients and customers entrust to us. We take care to guard our customers' privacy and our own.
eMaineHosting designed web sites are carefully optimized for internet search engines. Our clients' sites are found among the top listings on Google, Yahoo, Bing and AOL search returns.
We bill once every 6 months for web hosting, shopping carts, contact forms and domain email accounts. Please note that web site design fees are one-time only. eMaineHosting accepts payment by check or by credit card via PayPal. Our email address for PayPal is email@example.com.

Acceptable Use Our services may not be used for email spamming, distribution of adware or malware, or for any other activities which we deem harmful. Such use constitutes misuse or abuse of our services. eMaineHosting reserves the right to deny or discontinue services to any person who, in our sole judgment, has or is likely to violate this policy.
Payment Policy A non-refundable deposit on your web site order ( 50% of the estimated page design fee and 6 months of hosting ) is required, with the balance due on your site payable when your site is ready for publication to the Internet. Fees associated with your Account are billed biannually (once every 6 months). Your billing cycle begins on the first day of the month following the date on which your web site was initially published to the Internet.
Payment Methods Payment can be made by check or money order to eMaineHosting, P.O. Box 104, Aurora, ME 04408, or you can pay by credit card thru PayPal ( PayPal membership is not required ). Our email address for PayPal payment is firstname.lastname@example.org.
Overdue Fees Accounts with overdue web hosting or other fees are subject to suspension or termination by eMaineHosting. This applies to accounts that are more than 30 days overdue. eMaineHosting will not be responsible for any losses due to client's non-payment of fees.
Closing an Account A termination of services request from the hosting client must be received by eMaineHosting at least one week ( 7 days ) in advance of the client's next hosting due date in order to avoid paying a final month’s web hosting fee. The request may be made by email, US Mail, or by telephone.
Refunds Requests for refunds must be made within 30 days of the date on which your website was first published to the Internet. We will refund up to one half of the amount you paid eMaineHosting LLC prior to the publication date of your website. Initial deposits are not refundable. Fees paid after the publication date of your website are not refundable.
Disclaimer eMaineHosting LLC will not be liable for damages arising out of or in connection with the use of our services or with the termination or suspension of our services due to client misuse or abuse, non-payment of fees, termination at the client's request, or for any other cause. This is a comprehensive limitation of liability that applies to all damages of any kind, including (without limitation) direct, indirect, compensatory, or consequential damages, loss of data, income, profit, loss of or damage to property and claims of third parties.
